I will get in touch with Milltek (though I willl be surpised if its any different to what I imagine seeing lots of other posts on the net) but I wanted to share my experience first and foremost, and also wait to hear from the guy I bought it from before I do. This is by no means a dig at him, was a top bloke and I have no issue with the purchase etc and the condition of the box on arrival is why I'm so shocked its in the condition its in now

That's probably because they believe even at 6 months of life they'd probably outlive the car
Milltek were spot on with my replacement, but then I bought it new.
Least you didn't go blueflame, then it'd have never fit from the start, without a severe bashing..
It could be, on first picture is two ways of weld...but It can't be fault for rusty and this is all about rotten.

Put the car in for its MOT on Thurs and it failed on major leak from backbox.
I thought this was very funny as I've just put a new Milltek non res mated up to a backbox I got from a guy on here which was 9 months old. I believe this is correct because the box looked almost new. I've had it on since end April.
I've just taken it off to be greeted with this:
(this shows end that mates up to the centre pipe)
(this shows the right hand side tail pipe join to the box)
Of course the lifetime warranty is all well and good, but only if you bought it new, as I don't have a receipt its no good
I've heard mixed stories about Milltek but I always believed they were very good, how wrong I was.
Hopefully I'll get it fixed/welded by a guy round here that can weld stainless steel, otherwise its a new BB

i had the same problem matey i bought mine second hand and the same happened to me and then they wanted a receipt for proof to. so ive just put a custom made jap one on there for now (sounds like a scooby now ha ha). but im waiting for my 3.5" straight through pipe to be built and hopefully problem solved.
good luck with sorting that out, but i feel the same about miltek i'd rather have scorpion as there not bad at all for the price as i will use the back box off one for my straight through pipe with yhe nice 6x4 oval pipe
Yeah you see if I knew of a cheap replacement BB that would mate up to the non res centre and milltek mid pipe I'd prob have something different, tho I'm loathe to spend much more cash on the exhaust. Does sound like I've got no chance unless chap has the receipt.
