XDS 'Strong' Settings

What does xds stand for . Is it just braking it helps as i dnt need any help with my tarox 10's

Checked this the other day on my cupra and it was on strong already

on fl cupras (xds standard) default is "strong" and brake assist default is "normal" (0=weak, 2=strong)
