Xenon Lights

I have tried to fit Xenon lights to my Leon but they trip the Bulb Failure warning light.If i attach a resistor the xenons start flashing. Has Anyone got any ideas???? Nige

You need to code the ECU with VCDS (aka Vag com) so that you can run the 35W xenon lights.

I know that it is possible i car until 2008.

If its the actual OEM Xenon projection lights then they needed to be coded via vagcom to change the current AC/DC or the otherway round, if its a HID kit, a capacitor is what is needed and ebay is the best place, around £10 I think

Thanks Ive ordered a Can Bus decoder from e Bay They reckon that will fix it.
