I got the car from Thornes in Wakefield before it shut down, from now on i'll be using Ted Johnsons.

The bulbs were from Halfords, they have a crisper whiter light than the normal ones.

well no problem, takes me around 5 mins to remove the bumper now.

Did it in the M40 services yesteray when the boost hose popped off the intercooler, i did'nt tighten it up the day before, ooops.

LOL, I did that once too...bottom hose partly came out of the intercooler - I limped home with thick clouds of smoke following, then bumper off, fixed, bumper on again in about 10-15 minutes I hadn't put the clip on properly

You're right about my xenons - they are deeper units, and the covers are screwed on rather than clipped, and there's sod all clearance behind so it's definitely a bumper off job for me.

My initial comment was as Ken since pointed out, there's a fuel filter in the way that wasn't there on your petrol.

H7 i believe the bulbs are, thats whay the local Seat parts guy has told me anyway.

ive been quoted £20.73 inc VAT for the H7 bulbs, does it matter if only the H7's are changed and the rest stay as stock?

Same for the different headlights on the mk4? Ive got one unit, where as my brother's mk4 has two circles if you nderstand what i mean.

The single reflector headlights use H4 bulbs I think, whilst the dual reflector ones use H7 for the dipped beam and H3 for main as stated above.

Thats correct from what i can tell, in total i have 4 bulbs within my light cluster, one main, one dipped, one really small bulb (dunno which that is) and one indicator.

H7 is the dipped, which i am having changed to Xenon. I think this is correct, thats what ive been told anyhow.
