Don't mean to be a spoil sport...... but here is the LEGAL document on HID kits.

http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/roadsafety/drs/hidheadlamps

basicly there all illigal.

But if you are going to use them, then i would use a harness (like i did on my Hyundai)

This stopps them sugeing a blowing the ECU. I have done many HID installs and the people who don't use the harness always have problems with these cheep kits. I always use Hella when recomending a kit.

this is one from ebay. but i am not sure if this is a H7 one. (i made my own one)

if you need any help mate just drop me a message? i have done loads of these installs. But They are quite simple. Just plug and play.

Let us know how it goes.

when it comes through the door il just want to fit it not doing a guide but if im feeling patent and not in a rush il do a guide but i think it will be straight forward tbh il do before and after pics tho!

well got the kit through tonight and the box looks like its been dragged through a hedge backwards and some1 has used it to try and chop a tree down :( but inside everything is in new condition! anyways ive just got to wait for my harness saftey cable before i fit it so wont be fitting it till probably tomorrow :) pics soon :)

awaits tommorow.......................... do you need to buy anything else, do any fuses need to be changed or do you need to get the light allined or whatever they call it. Also will you take them off for MOTs? Sorry for all the questions!

to be on the safe side they will need removing for mot's and they will need aligning up an you will need a battery relay harness off the bay aswell to be on the safe side of not fcuking up your electrics up!

oh and maybe waiting a little longer just got a message on ebay saying that the harness loom isnt in stock till friday so i wont get it probably till monday and im not going to risk fitting it without the battery harness! specially with MY remap ect ect!

yea best waiting for the harness. the harness should have 3 fuses one 30Amp fuse from the bat to the relay, and two 20Amp fuses going to each ballast.

Startup current tends to be 8-Amps then 6.5 when running.

IIRC they fire through about 1000 volts to properly ignite.

the harness was suppost to turn up today but hasent so you lot will have to wait till monday-tuesday time :)
