Yellow stain on white bumper.

Just to see if anyone knows what this is. I have a yellow stain on my bumper that seems to gradually be getting more visible. It doesn't wash off and I tried polishing it too but no luck. Haven't tried the machine polisher on it yet. The bumper was damage repaired so in hoping it's not something to do with how it was repaired, filler or something. Any help?

I guess if you try machine polishing you will know whether it is a stain on the surface or something worse

I have seen similar things to this where parts have been primed yellow then painted white.
If the paint isnt thick enough you may be seeing the yellow primer through the paint? Do you polish it alot?
Abrasive polishes can go through thin paint over time.

My guess would be the body shop who did the repair burned the paint when mopping it. Probably a re-spray to get rid mate

That would be my first thought, especially if it's getting worse when you polish it.

Thanks for the help. It was sprayed less than a year ago but this has just been over the past couple of months I've noticed this. In that time I haven't machine polished it as the paint was fine. Shoul I try machine polishing it? Do I have right to go back to where I got it sprayed?

Yes mate take it back, they will try mopping it first anyway which will take them seconds and could fix it

I had a very similar looking mark on the door of my old Skoda Octavia, sadly never found out the reason for it. The Octy was silver and it had this yellowness under the paint, no polishing even came close to touching it.
