Picked up the leon beginning of April from a friend, coming from Japanese cars and after being destroyed by a cupra whilst in my glanza, let's just say my discrimination against anything other than Jdm was lifted.

Obviously when I first picked this up it had been without an mot for 6-8 months, it needed a little love to get it back on the road.

So far carried out a full service Inc. spark plugs and gear oil, timing belt aux belt & water pump with coolant flush. Tyres all round, replacement door lock mech (common fault apparently) and of course the mot.

Few more additions on the way, engine mount and a full silicone hose kit with the addition of yet another door lock then we'll see what problem it gifts me after that.

Overall, first impressions were not tarnished unlike its patchwork paint job.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Gotta say I do love the looks of the MK1, they're still very appealing even by todays standards.

Welcome nice looking mk1 looks the part in red for sure.
If you need anything to tidy yours up there is a mk1 being broken by thai wronghorse who had a lot of parts for these mk1 if you need bits he might even have some upgrades like stainless exhausts etc you’d have to ask.
