if you want to go all out, get some conti sport contact 3s.
probably not worth the price increase over the F1s, but if you're in the trade and can get them for an interesting price, have a look..

ive got 1 on the back, i put it on the back coz i had some cheapo piece of shite on the front when i bought the car and it jst wouldnt grip at all, so had 1 of them at work (part worn) and thought put that on insted.so obviously ive never felt the full potential of the conti

can't really recommend having different tyres on the same axle, in fact it's probably illegal

nah its not illegal, only did it to put me on till i got my new tyres
