Just wait until you do :D

LOL. I couldn't resist a quick drive before putting it away just now. Nice country lanes nearby, might have "blipped" to 7k. A scary growl started to emit from the engine and I briefly entered warp drive. Gotta get those run in miles in quick :cheeky:

Sounds great Scott, I'd love to have to have a quick look sometime if that's possible....

Once cleaned of all bodily fluids ;)

LOL. No probs. Next few weekends are a bit hectic. I might pop over to see Clive in a few weekends time - we could have a mini meet if you want. Would like to see your's too. ( oo er ;) )

congrats scott, looking forward to the pics

Taking the camera out tomorrow (won't have had a chance to clean the car up though).

so is Zboyd still out in his cupra?

LOL - seems like it :D I don't blame him if he is.

Cheers,

Scott

Yer i did get a bit carried away, but spent most of the day cleaning it, and polishing and finally waxing. Then went round to show my Gran. :D Then went on a mission for food. Then been out again for another blat this evening to test out the Xenons.

Such a great car, and glad to be in my 'own' car again.

Scenic Shot on the way home from Barnsley.

Thanks for the pictures Mark.

I've noticed you have your reversing sensors placed on the unpainted diffuser section - a location that I've been considering (no sensor painting required, DIY fitment).

I'd be interested to hear how well they work in that area - do the outer ones give adequate bumper corner coverage?

LOL, this is the very same question I would like answering.

Looks great Z

Skirts look okay (I thought they'd look a bit out of place).

I'm feeling a leeeeetle bit like I've made a mistake going for something else

They appear to work fine so far. Dealership rang me and said this kit needs to be fitted where its fitted on mine. Apparently the sensors are slightly angled upwards anyway so they pickup things above their position.

I was told if they fitted them along the painted bumper line, it would be difficult to pick anything up below a few feet as I got closer to it. Kind of defeats the object of having them really if they are not doing their job.

But as i say they work fine. And im happy with the positioning.

Yer im pleased with the look, it just finishes off the cars lines better. Decided to scrap the spoiler, they are on back order at the factory at the moment and I've been umming and arrring about its looks anyway.

So told TedJ's to leave it.

I doubt the car has BMW build quality, but its a lot of fun. I'm really pleased with it.

I too am happy with the positioning, would prefer them not to be on the main painted area.

Is it the Seat kit that they have fitted Z? hence the position or an alternative?

Cheers chaps, very pleased with it. Good to have my own car again. :)

Only about 150 miles on it so far, off out again this afternoon though for a jolly. :D

Any excuse for a drive out.
