Hello all, im new here and by the end of this week i will be taking my seat ibiza in for p/x for a seat leon tdi se.2003. 130bhp

this is going to be my project, i want to get rid of its ugly 16", i want to replace the front bumper and the rear, and also stick side skirts on if i find a nice one.

now money is an option but time isent so ide like recommendations off anyone thats kindly enough to share.

any websites with lots of body kits etc


i also would like to know what size alloys are posible to fit without going into trouble in amending the body, i'd like pictures of other leons so i can see what kind of alloys i would be interested in, etc, ive allready found a spoiler i just need to find it cheapest now, ive currently fell in love with

i was thinking of either deep dish alloys or chrome as the mirrors on the car are chrome,

and with induction kits, does it actualy sound allrite with diesel engines? ive never herd them run on them, and obviously exhausts dont go with diesel but is ok for looks? i never had a diesel before so can some one kindly fill me in? anymore questions if u dont understand please ask.

As far as exhausts go, if you search for "mufflerectomy" you'll be pleasently supprised. I like the sound of my diesel now, granted its not as nice as some petrols, but its deeper and sounds lovely once the turbo spools up.

hey bud where abouts are you from?

you should get a Cupra R bodykit if any, 18s should go on no problems and you can remap the engine for abit more performance

i was hoping for a cupra yeah but i thought it wud look standard so i want to go for a more custom look, i have black trim on the side, what can i do about it? remove it n get it filled or jst colour code it? how much does it cost to remap the ecu for a tdi 130 and how much bhp will it ge to,

Cupra Rs stick out like a sore thumb in my opinion, one lad on here swapped his bumper for Cupra R ones and fitted RS6 alloys it looked amazing, he changed his username though so i cant remember who it is.

would definitly consider it, alot better than some of the poorly made fibreglass tat iv seen out there

remap should increase power by around 40bhp, roughly 400quid i think

Ive got a Mk4 Ibiza Cupra TDI, if you search on here for "mufflerectomy" you'll find pics videos and sound clips.

I went for a standard looking exhaust tip, as its pretty big as standard. But any decent exhaust place (powerflow??) will be able to knock you one up for ~£120 ish with a nice tip on the end fitted.

revo dealers all over the uk, but being where you live id guess you'd have to travel 50miles or so. but the journey home would be alot of fun

if you choose not to go the cupra R bumper route then make sure you get a front bumper with suitable cut outs/ vents for the side mounted intercooler on the TDIs.

i think thats how i put images down, thats my car neway, standard as can be, at the moment

youve got your 130bhp tdi up to 175? thats alot mate, i went on thet rev site and its £400 to get it from 130 to 170, but the only one that had 130bhp was the PDI, can some one explain to me what PDI is? not bad for that price really.

im really tempted with the exhaust as every modified car needs a new rear, have you got a picture of ur tdi mate? ide like to see what u have done to it,

picking up my car in about 4hours so gona go clean it now

i think your car has facelift wing mirrors, a leon owner will confirm it or shoot me down im sure

the mirrors are standard yeah? the last person to have it was a 50yr old man lol doubt it hed be into modifying, glad its diesel, going to pick the car up now woohoo!!

PD stands for Pumpe Deuse, thats german for unit injector. Its the type of high pressure injection used in some VAG TDIs. All 130bhp tdis are PDs.
