TDI`s over 100

Since were talking about the speeds of diesels at the mo i just thought i would mention that yes upto 100 i would say there are excellent but i find they are very slow after 100 with the needle hardly moving as it approaches 140+. I find this in mine and i also have revo!

Out of interest how is you tdi putting out 202bhp with revo? have you got any other engine mods?

It was putting out 162bhp before revo on the same rr. But i guess it may be the rr been out.

Mine was putting out 166 before remap...
i think some are definately more than others.

Agree with Chris, since my remap it flies to 130 and not long to 145 either, havnt tested it further than that though..... my drive-way aint long enough...

Since being remapped there is noticably a lot more power further through the rev range which is helping the top end speeds. 80 to 130 = wow!

A quick question... ive been told driving at constant very high speeds isnt good for the turbo in a Diesel compared to a petrol, any truth in that?

I rarely get to a ton nowadays. Over a ton is a ban. I couldnt live without my car. Will be interesting to see what I can get at snetterton down the straight.
