New Leon FR 'with Aero kit'

It's offered on the Leon but not the FR at the moment

Also I believe the kit is considered 'aftermarket' by insurance comapnies as it's a dealer fit option......I think they are trying to address this issue as well

Saw a black tdi with that kit on in Leicester a couple of days ago - looked very nice in black.

Hmmm interesting. I've had mine on order for some time, and was told that Seat have been trialling the bodykit for safety standards.

I've ordered the 170TDi FR with bodykit in black, and that will have the exhaust positioned in the centre. The exhaust will the same one used on the new Cupra.

Looking forward to seeing it, pick it up on Friday.

Should look good Zooneycat, I look forward to seeing the pics as I have only ever seen the exhaust in the centre on Cupra prototype pics. Do you mind me asking how much that is costing you?

Roughly, the whole kit is about £2,200. That's with wheels, fitted & sprayed up too. I didn't think it was too bad, for what i was getting.

Meant to post these earlier. Anyway piccies of the FR c/w Aero kit. This is the Fr TDI. They're a bit poor, as it was about to throw it down with rain (just as i finished washing it)

I am very happy with it. It's attracted a lot of looks from people, who aren't quite sure what it is. Hubby's cousin came to see it yesterday and is off down to the dealer this weekend to order himself one!

They did mention that to me. I have a private plate going on, so that one will be a 'little' smaller!

looks pretty savage in black, I like it. Saw one of the SCN clan had a silver one at Silverstone and preferred it to standard spec. Very expensive though for the full pack of aero parts, wheels and exhaust.

I had a Leon Cupra before. Extra on the insurance until May 07 was £70.

I don't think it's added much overall. Most of that was admin costs!

The kit was £2,281. However, mine was the first the garage had ever done, and they are now selling it on at £2,500 now.

The other half had a 2/3 square one on the front of her Scooby and was never stopped for it. It was big enough to not look like you were taking the piss.

It seems that the FR can't use the bodykit with the twin exhausts. Anybody know why not?
