Can you fit Chrome S3 Wing Mirrors to an LCR?

Has anyone managed to fit Chrome / S3 wing mirrors to their LCR?

Square or Tear drop shaped mirrors, I did it with the square ones

what about the mirrors of a leon FR? but then again why make a LCR look like a FR?

The square mirrors are the same as a Mk4 Golf, you can buy chrome look covers. The original black shell unscrews and with a bit of brute force unclips and the new Chrome ones clip / screw back in place.

read some where on ebay i think, it states that if you folding mirrors, you wont be able to fit silver covers on the mirrors!
