I spend some time in Berlin last week... and at the huge Seat/VW/Skoda/Bently/Bugatti dealer at "Unter den Linden" they had the Cupra at display... and it was the actual car, not a pre-model or something like that!
I had a pretty good look at it... and it is definitely not Brembo-discs and calibres! They are still huge though... 345mm!
I took some photos... but they are not the best quality because I used the camera in my phone! Removed

P.S. The worst thing is... that it only cost 30.000,- euro´s in Germany with xenon, navigation, bluetooth and all!
For me in Denmark, its a slap in the face... cause I have paid around 50.000,- euro´s for my TFSI Sport-up... without xenon and navigation! (navigation alone is worth more than 6.500,- euro´s in Denmark)

Spoke to my dealer again and they tell me that i am first on the list but they cannot place an order with SEAT until mid Jan, thats fine by me as i get a '07' reg.

I've just got off the phone having talked to my dealer who told me that the delay to the Cupra production was caused by the Brembo brakes overheating!! and that Golf R32 brakes have been substituted in place of Brembo's, now call me an old cynic but I sense the intervention of beancounters at VAG's head office, "You want to fit £3k brakes on a £20k car, dream on", is probably how it went.....

Just a little teaser from Holland. I made the picture this afternoon but i'm not able to post them yet because i'm at the office and my usb cable is at home. I have to go shopping with my wife now ![[:@]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/furious.gif "Furious [:@]")
and will post the long awaited pictures in the evening. (I made quite some pictures of the engine so i hope that some of you can make something of that, turbowise)
