I suspect it's the same turbo as the S3, but I would like solid proof...

Hadn't seen the shortnews link beore, it does say it shares the engine with the S3, but we know it's a different engine code - so it' the same engine.

I'd seen the other links before, bigger turbo could just mean bigger than the FR, but not as big as the S3. The 240 limit if it was a K03s would be about right, which is why I'm interested to know if it is bigger, and will remap to more than 240ps.

There is a dutch seat dealer who has remapped the Cupra with no additional hardware to 289 PS and 375 NM Torque

The thing with the remapping sounds interesting. but it would be interesting what kind of gearbox the Cupra has. MQ 350? Does anybody know?

Great pictures, really like the car bUT teh irst thing i would wnat to change is that god awful gest knob. It looks like something off a market...sooo plastic.

got my test drive booked when my dealer gets one in. BUT think I will resent the loss of money on my FR (54 plate with 11000 on clock) too much to get a new one so may wait a while for an Ex demo machine
