I had the same issues buying my MK1 DAB last year. Couldn't get delivery time got Reg number weeks before delivery. I found it frustrating. Sounds Like the DAB is a UK only thing wit all extra's and tweeks fitted in the uk which is fine but I think it should be advertised that's what happens. Saves a bit of frustration.

The thing Is we don't have It In writing as to what spec the car comes with.
We only have the dealers word as to what Is fitted to the car so If It turns up for Instance with no steering wheel controls for the stereo they could just turn round and say the car dosen't come with them.
I think I will try and get In touch with Seat about this.

According to forum member Insider, there are no old DABs left in the system.

as for the spec of the car there are definately steering wheel controls, white dials,opening rear quarters 16" spica alloys, honey comb grills, aux in, rear disc breaks, visable exhausts, blaupunkt dab radio and new interior we have one in our showroom.

I am concerneded as well as all my dealer knows is that it is identical to the sport, plus a different radio and 100 engine, but from what insider says there are many more extras.
But what if there are also things taken off the car.
Spoke to my dealer today who said that they have a blue one coming into stock this week so he said I can come and see one. Thank goodness for that.

The visable exhaust is a bit of a pea shooter.

seriously mate dont worry you have signed a legally binding contract saying that your dealer will supply you an ibiza dab, if you recieved a car with less spec than it should have Seat will have to supply the correct one and there are enough people here myself included who will vouch for your car and what it shold have inside it bring up your concerns with your dealer. how far are you from leicester? sorry scratch that i just saw your in scotland

Cheers for that, shame I am so for away from you and I could have poped in to see one. My dealer said he had one from last year he could show me, but not much point as there seems to be lots of differences. Phoned all the dealers up in Scotland and none of them seem to have one in stock, so will just need to wait and see what the inside looks like
