Hi There

We have done alot of work with the mapping on the 170bhp TDI's. Gains are approx +28bhp and +75NM of torque.

A map can also be programmed towards less torque and more BHP, which is approx +34bhp and +65NM of torque

have you done a map for the FR Tdi 170 for anyone on cupra.net yet? I am interested to see how they have got on so far , the stnd torque is 350nm so that would rise to 425nm do you thing the FR can handle that amount ok?

Yes, the torque is not a problem.

BHP is not as high as we'd have liked, but this was the best mapping to give good pulling power without having problems with the filter

I had a remap - now pulls out 194 BHP and 302Nm torque. The increase is mind blowing. I reckon I could tow a North Sea Ferry let alone a caravan!

£350m is a bargain if you can get it - I paid £500 for mine. Best money I've ever spent.

Who did your remap Starbank? Did you have to carry out any other mods to achieve those figures? Do you you have a manual or DSG?

hi there, ive got a 2.0 tdi leon remapped to 197 bhp.. its good fun playing with type r civics n stuff. had a td performance tuning box before, didnt have the get up and go of remapping and was a lot smokier.. would def reccomend remapping over tuning box....
