lcrs dont have the leather option afaik. think that ended as the facelift cupra came out. love the leather but can be slippy

oh i thought they did come with leather as an option

thats nice to know

leather is slippery....but no matter what anyone says you cant beat a full leather interior:p

You can beat a full leather interior if you like staying in place when cornering hard! My Mrs' has full Recaro leather in her Puma and while it's very nice on a normal day, on the motorway, just cruising... there are far too many times when it's horrible.

In the hot summer it's too hot and you stick to it and sweat more.
In the cold winter it's freezing.
When you're going for a 'spirited' drive it's harder to stay in your favoured position as you slide everywhere.

I'd rather stick with cloth.

Easy to keep clean though....in all scenarios;)

Leather wins it for me. IME, most people who say otherwise are just a bit jealous they don't have it :) .You know, everyone tries to justify what they have to make themselves feel better.

It looks heaps better than cloth, and really changes the "atmosphere" of the interior. I've got it in my coupe at the minute, and will miss it with a LCR, but it's certainly a price worth paying for the rest of the car. :)

I'd by lying if I said I actually PREFER cloth though. Even taking into account the hot/cold issues.

Well having two cars at my disposal, one with Recaro leather and one with LCR cloth seats, I am well and truly out of the 'jealous I don't have it' camp. And I can honestly say, while it looks pretty, for a performance car cloth wins every time, IMO :)

Diplomatic as always :)

I know this isn't the thread, but seeing as you're in here...The mirrors on the LCR. Do they all fold in, and tilt when you reverse?

Don't hit me!

Oh, I'd also like to say thanks for the help and info you've provided so far, and indeed everyone on this forum, but you seem to have popped up to help most (plus you offer decent advice in all the other threads I've read).

FORUM LOVE IN!

Just don't tell my boss I've done sweet FA work recently

No, the mirrors don't fold in automatically unfortunately. There are rumoured to be ways of making this work - either via VAG-COM or third party solutions - but nothing easy to switch on as standard I'm afraid. I'd love this option myself :)

Forums must cost business millions. It's probably not wise for me to have post notifications coming to my work email either...ahem.

One last bit on the mirrors, there is a switch to fold them in right? Otherwise I'm confused about all the talk of electric folding mirrors!

Oh, there should totally be a PM option on this forum!

Hahaha,

I spend almost all day on forums! Especially this one.

On some models, you can fold the mirrors in on themselves to avoid getting them beat about when parked. This is controlled fromo the same switch that adjusts their angle :)
