ive ordered a MAF sensor from dealers.... he said its an original unit for £62.80, non-exchange and its bosch too... is this right?

RobM i was actually shocked at the price... i gave him the VIN and he gave me a price.. cheaper than Euro Parts and dont need to exchange...i can clean my old one and keep it as a spare...

DPJ and the rest of Seat'lings.... £62.86 for a BOSCH MAF sensor with hosing and brand new non-exchange.... what a good price.... with guarantee too

Do you have a part number and the name of the Seat dealer to hand? I'm thinking that if I ever need a new MAF (again...) I'll phone the local dealer, quote those details and if they are more expensive I'll want to know why ;)

yeh... 038906461c air flow meter.... jct600 01274400600.... apparantly he matched maf number to my vin.... gonna put it on tonight... is it a hard job?

I'd like better proof it's not re-manufactured, please.

All MAFs apart from the chinese copies have been remanufactures for a couple of years. I can't see brand new being cheaper than remanufactured.

i aint complaining... i can take 5 megapixel pics and scan receipt.... it looks so new u can eat off it

ah... he said they dont do exchanges anymore... and that this was brand new theyve stoped doing refurbs.... he give them a call.... see what they say... i may have misunderstood

im not alone then Mike.... i just hope that it was my MAF thats faulty... if it aint then i'll be selling the new MAF lol any offers?

true... i'll sel it on ere if its not my MAF... if not i'll keep it for when it does mess up...
