Hey i havent got much money at the mo but want to modd the car further, at the mo i have a smooth boot, and 17" alloys.

Also i just bought subs for the boot but cant find where to run the power cable from the battery through to the dash?any clues?

Hey, welcome to the forum!

There are plenty of little mods you can do. First common one is replacing the standard aerial with a shorter beesting version. This can sacrifice radio reception however.

Spend an afternoon giving the car a really good cleaning. Wash and wax, treat the plastics, clean the glass and wheels etc etc. I will make the car look so much better!

Directly up from the battery on the bulkhead is a rubber grommet with a wairing loom going through. You can out the power cable through there and it will pop out behind the dash.

hi mate, you could start by getting an aftermarket induction kit? or you could replace the panel filter with a k&n one etc, you could re-spray your brake calipers for the sake of a tenner, i suppose most things cost too much! good luck though mate. :)

cheers need all the help i can get! I bought caliper paint with the alloys but didnt have the patience to paint wanted the wheels on asap!
The induction kit my car is a single point injection is there a specific filter i can get and where is the best place to buy one? cheers:D

delocked handes - Ebay - rear door handles from a polo 4 or ibiza 2
s2000 aerial - £10
remove bump strips if you have them
pressed number plates - £30
painted calipers (hammerite tin - £5)
debagded grille - £30 on ebay
meguiars products - wash mitt/clay bar/gold class shampoo/GC wax sealant
uprated components - £50
2nd hand backbox - anything up to £80ish?
Drilled airbox and a panel filter - drill + £45

just a few off the top of my head..

look for K&N's etc for a POLO... same as , really I had a K&N on my old Single point 1.4 and it made a big difference sound-wise (and Im SURE it gave me about 600Bhp more ;) )

yeah k&n are pretty good, my piperx couldnt match it for BHP per ton but made up for it in ultra low decabels...
