Just orderd an Ibiza Cupra TDI

Trying to save some cash and consolidate cars as we currently have 3!!

2 are going (306 D Turbo and Yaris T Sport) and being replaced with a new Ibiza Cupra TDI. The modified Impreza STI stays

Only managed to test drive the FR as i couldn't find a Cupra anywhere but i imagine it's just a little faster and maybe slightly stiffer suspension.

Quite surprised how quick the FR was and i drive a 330bhp scooby

Been reading the forum and their doesn't seem too many things to look out for when i get it.

I think i got a reasonably good deal on it but not sure?
Metallic paint + Convenience pack for £14900.

One question i have for anyone who has recently ordered from new: What have you found the average waiting time to be?? Been told about 10 weeks which would suit me fine.

I ordered 1 with the convinience pack and metallic paint and i got £1700 of the listed price.Im trading in my scooby wrx cause i have a bmw m3 evolution and its amazing for da weekends.I ordered an ibiza cause ive always on seats and they are class and da cupra is a pocket rocket ship. I was told 3 weeks 4 mine,a black one and i got told 3 days 4 a siver 1,10 weeks 4 a yellow 1.

I've gone for zenith Grey, neither of them colours

Does the Cupra come with xenons?

Nope, optional extra, or just get a set from HIDS4u

Never mind. I fitted some to the Scooby so might do the same. Never noticed them on the Cupra's option list but they were on the FR's option list which i found strange. Only options that were available were:

Metallic
Convenience Pack
Electric Sunroof

Looking forward to getting it. Never managed a test drive of one, just the FR which i found quicker than expected so nearly just went for one of them but i thought sod it and ordered the Cupra

You cannot get xenons on the PD Cupra only on the lower spec models.

Xenons only on FR as the FMIC pipes on the Cupra get in the way of the Xenons I assume.

The colour was a joint decision between me and the women.

I've had a black Civic Type R and although it looked brilliant I got sick of cleaning it all the time. It was a choice between Red or the Zenith Grey in the end so went for the metallic as it seemed a bit rarer and hopefully stays cleaner

No confirmation of a delivery time yet. Salesman said he would ring when he had a rough idea of a delivery date. A week tomorrow and not even received an order confirmation through the post as i ordered over the phone and he said something would be sent out as they needed a signature. I'm in no rush so won't be chasing this up.
