yup which is what i thought, i will try when my serial lead comes through, but didn't think the mk3 has that module.....

mine only does it with key in door....

dan u saying urs does it with the remote?

The previous owner had it fitted then.

I doubt this will work on the Mk3 and need an additional auto-closure module.

No its not an aftermerket one, im 99% sure of it. The fob is just a crap black bit with 2 buttons on it. One locks/unlocks and the other sets off the alarm.

Maybe was an extra that came with the R?

When I bought the car it was unmolested in any way, ive still got the budget 'warning this car is fitted with an alarm sticker'.

Scorpion is the name of the alarm as its in the booklet with all the other bits about the ibiza

Maybe it was offered as an option or is standard on the 'R'?
The only fob with the Cupra is the two buttons actually on the keys. The alarm uses the horn.

I must have somethign different then. I have a ver very basic key, no fob and then a seperate black box on the key ring with 2 buttons for the central locking. My alarm uses the horn and has a siren but its nothing like a clifford alarm or anything like that.

The only thing remotely similar to a clifford alarm is the auto remote closure.

I think ive confused myself here, Ignore me:blahblah:

Mine unlocks and locks on the buttons on the key but I noticed if I unlock it then dont open the door or anything it will lock itself again after say 30secs or so.

I think this was something offered on the R model. My mate strapper on here (his old car being the one in the detailind section by finderdetails) had the same. It had a seperate black key fob, had no led at the door pin, instead it was in the dash and had scorpion alarm stickers on it.
