not yet no, if it costs about £40 to get the rub strips painted then i'm assuming about the same price ish or is that just me being optomistic?!

well.... i'd only be after lowering springs *awaits convo on the benefits of coilys* cuz as i said i'm a bit poor! the springs cost around £100 plus 2 hr fitting which is about £60 at my local garage down the road, whereas coilovers would take months! I'm probably looking at a couple of months to save up for that, i'm going on Holiday in 9 weeks so thats kinda taking up a lot of my dosh at the mo!

as for the splitter idea, if you got a spare £20, get one and try it, you could always take it off if you don't like it!
