Stop listening to easy listening/Classic FM! Switch to Kerrang to get even more MPG cause they have become super shite!

dont be ridiculous! its definately witchcraft!! :p

have you never played the 'try not to use the turbo' game?

its quite fun, to see the av mpg go to 67mpg for 39 seconds coasting...........

but then you remember you have a company fuelcard, and it doesnt matter anymore!!!

(dont tell my boss )

i actually do that alot! i think im a pretty conservative driver compared with what alot of people say on here but i struggle to get my mpg above 29 even when doing motorway trips. unfortunately my root to work involves alot of roundabouts and traffic lights and stop-start stop-start is not good for the trip computer.

I want to play that game! Shame I dont have a company fuel card and no matter how hard I coast a 67mpg average is beyond a LCR

Every body is looking at the leon and asking why? Maybe pabs has lost his eye sight and cant see as well, or had one too many to drink one night and forgot he filled up the tank that day? :p

Or he has a bee hive locked in his tank all providing him with BP.

not getting into the spirit here i see.

try moving your seat closer to the pedals then maybe you can only push the throttle a couple of inches.

Err , I'm comfussed  why would any one buy a turbo car and try not to use the turbo!!!! probably explains 'my' fuel consumtion figures a bit then...

Perhaps Pab's has remembered to release his handbrake

look u muppets :)lol:) I drive the same as I always do - the m3 is a little bit clearer than normal at the moment (ie less traffic) which could explain it i suppose, but i can't see it being THAT different...

No, it's not a diesel.
No, it's serviced regularly - although I am due new spark plugs within the next couple of months
No - I'm not driving with my seat further away from the loud pedal.
No - I'm not trying to play the "not use the turbo game"
No - I'm not going blind
No - I don't listen to classic Fm - Nor Kerrange for that matter (although I am a rocker) - I listen to Radio 1 in both directions - Chris Moyles on the way TO work - Scott Mills on the way home.

:)

It's probably got something to do with constant motorway driving and less start stop driving behaviours. I bloody wish my LC was doing 350-400 miles to the tank!

I doing more like 230-260miles max and thats driving like a granny on sunday!
