How do you get the rear really low???

Just fitted eibach coilover onto My Polo, the front will go really low, but the rears even at their lowest setting arent low enough.

Can i remove the adjuster seats and just run the spring to get few extra mm?

Does anyone do sslightly shorter rear springs for this chassis?

lau16 what suspention have you got on there i'm having same problems with mine the back is at its lowest and still doesn't look that low but now i'm getting knocking noises coming from the front somewhere i have cut out the plastic by the droplinks there doesn't sem to be any play in the front or rear suspension i havent got a clue where its coming from :s

Hmm, its either the drop links or ARB bushes??

I had the vRS arb fitted and drop links changed for shorter ones at the same time as fitting coilovers, knocking has gone!

I have Weitec gt hicon on the car, and thats super, no knocking noises at all.

And no problems in the front with drop links or ARB bushes, its all standart

its about half way down its not super low but the problems didnt start untill i lowered the back :s think i'm going to raise it a turn at a time untill the knocking stopps, well thats if it does lol

ANdy947 what are you classing as low? I've got about 20mm from top of my tire to my bodywork is that low enough. Would post pictures but I've just got a new computer at work, and it locked down so I can't even install my bluetooth software. No more ETKA...

Oh yeah eibach, just seen it at the top, i know they do look quite 4x4ish as std, how much is the kit supposed to lower it by???

It is lowered a fair bit. . . They sit pretty high as standard
