Window Tinting?

Should I bother to get my rear windows tinted? And what would it cost - I wouldn't do the fronts as I hear the ol' Bill are clamping down and Tints at the front make it impossible to see out at night (been there, done that)....

imho i dont think cars look right with just the backs done. Look nice with all round tints, but they are impractical and so, not really worth the hassle from th eold bill.

I like the half tint look As long as its not too dark. I am thinking of getting mine done, It will cost about £250. My little girl hates the sun in her eyes so good reason to get it done for me. Not sure if its worth £250 though?

£250 I got light smoke all round and sun strip done for £150.

The tint % did not affect the price either. Black limo all round would also have been £150.

For rears only I wouldn't pay more than £110. £30-£40 per window is the going rate.

wow! i have had 2 quotes from 2 tint shops and they both came out with 250?

30-40 per window isn't the going rate. I was also quoted in the region of 250 quid from several dealers for my whole car to be done.

I like the idea of tints at the back, but would rather spend my money on something else

Well, it's partially for my 2 year old and the sun glare if I'm honest.....

I'll buy sommat else I reckon

got my rears done for 100 from a tinting company with a life time waranty..

company has a very good reputation in the midlands area

yer 250 is alot.. i paid 170 on my megane for all 5 windows to be done. but i wouldnt get just the rears done to be honest for me its all or nothing.. so for the leon its nothing.

I've just tinted my rear windows in light smoke, i did them myself and didn't come out to bad for a first attempt. Have to take the glass out for the fronts though which will be a pain.
