Forge intercooler - necessary?

Morning all

If I set my car up with induction kit, DV, cat back exhaust and Revo, is it necessary to get a new forge intercooler or would that just be a luxury mod as opposed to a requirement?

has anyone with a leon fitted the GT TDi intercooler from 150bhp diesel golf mk4? approx same size as leon rad.

True,if you remap it then get heat soak such as 80 deg +, would it be ideal then?

I had the 130 GT TDI and was sure its the same as the 150, it had an intercooler like the LC just a singel side mount!

So would make no diff!

thats a golf mk4 GT TDI pd150 intercooler check the part number in pic. Its a frontmount intercooler.
