Jack snapped - warranty?

Jacking up the front end of the car to check a tyre as it was slowly going down and got the jack up no problem then the handle snapped off! Managed to jack it back down though. Looks like the handle parts are weak metal.

So, will it be covered under warranty?

Mine collapsed yesterday so im on the look out for a new 1, would be good to find out the price if you get it.

Get a Vauxhall one from ebay or scrappy. Does the same job. That's what I'm using. Saves taking everything out of the boot.

my old one was bending when i was tryin to lift up my old 1.4 but my new one seems alot better even with the extra weight so seat might know about this prob....
