the thing is, the spreadsheet does not work on cars with altered maps/injectors.
I have logged a few cars usin gthis and the figures are bizarre in one extreme and believable in the next..
eg: on boost afr of 18 is'nt likely, but was on a k03s'd car by another tuning Co
Not sure I would want to rely on a cal'd figure..
He has Zeitronix, can log actual afr against rpm against boost.
If its leaning out, it either physical delivery issue (pump, lines, FPR,injectors) or map is not asking for enough..
Trying something like lemmiwinks, custom settings uni_settings type programmes will allow some channel adjustment.
Sounds to me a mix match or parts which do not work with the map as set.
Remap it, back at HQ of who mapped it originally once convinced all other mechanical aspects are correct of course
Hooch has got himself a TT fuel pump to try. If that doesnt work then it could be faulty injectors or even a blocked line as Bill says.
The map was fine on the car it was mapped to before with all the same components.
A 4 bar FPR made a good difference last nite. Dropping alot more fuel through, but still not enough. I will grab the map off the car at some point and check it all out through WinOls.
danish...i understand that they look different when in standard form but you can put s3/tt pump internals in a ibiza housing (if i heard bill correctly) so they wouldnt look any different!
didnt know if there was away if i can tell if the pump im currently running has tt internals!?
beattie17...cant give dimentions untill the bumper is off. soz
i know thats what i thought when i 1st installed it and then again amin ago when i got it out!
BUT
the electric motor has been changed at some piont!? whether it was to uprate it or not i dont know?
i have a jbs invoice saying fuel pump and a part number, but the part number doesnt match the number on the pump! hence the reason i thought the internals were swapped!?
im just gonna keep my fingers and toes croosed untill 2m when i try the TT one, thats if it turns up like they promised it would!
