New Cupra - Headunit

Looking at changing my car and I test drove the Cupra the other day, v nice.

But I have one question can the stock radio be replaced with a single DIN unit and has anyone done this ? Or should i order the car with the Ipod adapter ?

Some pics would be nice.

The iPod adaptor isn't very good mate.

It doesn't display track names and navigating to the track you want is difficult.

I've never seen a single din unit in a Leon......

Maybe go for the USB Option and play your music off a fat memory stick? Not sure if this has better control than the IPOD option?

To be honest copying MP3s onto a CD and playing that back works really well.

Means that you only have about 150 or so tracks per disk, but that functions spot on.

No, don't think so. I reckon the criteria is - if the device is recognised by a PC as drive when you connect it then it may work in the car. An IPOD as far as I know does not do this.
