I'd put key replacement in the top 10 of all time threads for questions.

No you have many choices either moving a transponder from another spare, to using Vagcom or getting someone to use Vagcom for you. Or taking it to a dealer. (I got mine done free via a dealer while in for dash work ).

Fob can be gotten off ebay. Remote C/L can be coded via your user manual guide. Key can be cut in Timpsons etc... New Seat badge from dealer.

Thanks - I'd not searched for the word "replacement" with "key".

Anyone in the Sheffield/Rotherham/Lincoln/Scunthorpe area with VAGcom?

Buy flip key

Take transponder from spare, put in flip key

Code key to car (takes 1 minute with key presses & turns - info in Ibiza section)

Get key cut
