Standard Wheels Opinion??

im considering gettin my standard wheels coated in this

anybody got the same colour on there leon FR wheels

Not my cup of tea, but if you do I think you will need to change the colour of the mirrors to

looks nice mate, cant really go wrong there.

a definite improvement i would say, and not something that is going to affect price when you sell, unlike changing the alloys to something not normally seen on a leon fr.

my intentions are to drop it, tint the windows, coat the rims, and leave the front/rear badge silver and leave the mirrors (as i think they define a FR)

I personally think Anthracite works best on red cars - it may look a little odd on your car with the smoked titanium mirrors

i went for metallic anthracite on my LCR wheels. there's pics on one of my recent threads round here.

I like.

I've got Matt Gunmetal wheels and think they look good. Can show you some pics if you want. Obviously not standard FR wheels.

I'm not overly keen on the look of the standard FR wheels though.

im fact id preffer the LCR alloys to be lighter on black cars.

If you do have the rims painted grey then I'd get the mirror covers done to match - would look pretty smart them IMHO!

However as already said I don't think dark wheels on a dark car looks any good

I'm thinking the same as you although i have a silver leon....cant afford new wheels at the mo but i can get them powder coated for £120 in light anthracite...
Dont go too dark on a black car as there will be no definition to the wheel if that makes sence...

totally understand that beezasport..i think they wond stand out enough if i go to gloss or matt black. but quite like the look of anthracite!

got mine done 2 weeks back, wanted them black but after lookin at loads of pictures decided against it, doesnt seem to define the alloys away from the car enough with out a silver lip. I went for high power silver. The smoked high power would prob look good tho.
