Folks - Got my new TDI Ibiza Cupra! - What Mods?

I never bought it all at once Rash. Unfortunately the missus keeps me and the car on a very strict budget! - Student Accountants for ya!! :cry: So pieces have been bought 1 at time over a few months. Got some ££ 'under the floorboards' so we'll see where that takes us! ;) :D - Ofcourse she is unaware! :lol: [B)]

I'd go to the meet but i finish work at 3pm depending on traffic. So by the time i've managed to get to the other side of the city i'd probably be too late.

One day i'll make a meet.
 
True. Cool there quite frequent so hopefully see you at one. Your the 2nd Crono Ibiza owner from the Scottish side. Cupra Jo is the other Crono Ibiza owner. Very Smart ibiza so it is! ;)
 
Hi if you decide you want a lot more power from you engine Jabba Sport do TDI PD turbo upgrades 240-250bhp
 
Ah nice big numbers but that's not the most important thing....reliability is so more torque and some horses that won't take the p*ss out of the std mechanics would be kinda KooL!
 
hi, my m8 has an oldskool K reg vauxhall astra gsi redtop (2 litre and 200bhp), he reckons it will beat an ibiza cupra 1.9tdi or 1.8 petrol, does any1 agree with his statement or is he tellin porkies
 
Have a look Dannyboy - This is a GSI RT vs BCM's (lad on here) LCR. Think the GSI is tuned to f**k though (BCM's mate). BCM has the 210 LCR, with a dynatwist filter, forge dv007 and turbo back with 100cell race cat. a dynatwist and exhaust.

That Astra is mega quick though. Seen it about Hamilton.

Have you thought about what kinda power your looking for Diss?

Those figures from Jabba (same with Allards etc) are only achieved by fitting a larger turbo that is up to the job.
The bits that generally need uprating for those sorts of figures to run reliably are: turbo, clutch and intercooler (unless you've got a Cupra TDI in which case you already have the best intercooler for the job).
 
Thinking of going up to Drivers on Saturday with Romeo to see what they can do for me. Nothing spectacular just something to keep me interested. But who nows in the future! I might even try and catch up with Rash!! lol
 
Stay clear of Neil or he will have your car getting a remap. :lol:

Heard alot about him via his missus! lol. So hopefully go up on Sat and have a good chat. A little raging though that they cant do tasters on TDIs! :(
 
if you want to have 240 250 BHP do not forget to install aditional extrenal oil cooler. you can drive all the time 235km/h and to not affraid of the oil temperature esspecialy in summer when it is over 30 degrees in celcius
