will wire diagram for 1998 golf be the same as my mk2 ibiza?

ive found the diagrams online and need to know if they will be the same so i can wire up the lights this weekend!

probably not.

Pick up a haynes.. the wiring diag's in there are pretty accurate (even if the colours aren't) - just look at connector numbers

Scanning a Haynes (even the wiring diagrams) will take a good old while! Have a thrash over to Yeovil and pick one yourself, good chance to visit the very good museum whilst you're there
