Love how much of the brakes and callipers you can see! My sport wheels hide it quite a lot.

Yep i found that with the sport wheels....painted the callipers....put the wheels back on and was like 'great that was a waste of time..can't even see them!!' They really stand out now due to the dark colour of my wheels too.

Yeh i know what you mean. The back - especially with having spacers you have to look in between and sort of "Oh there are brakes back there somewhere" whereas page 1 shows how well you can see both front and back. Plus as you know, with the Sport wheels you can only see like an inch block of red with the front callipers. and it makes them a pig to clean! Might have to just touch my callipers up a bit before I put my new wheels on. Want to lacquer them aswell....

S**t the bed! I know it's going a bit off topic now but have a look at these wheels you can get for the old school Mini....
The back's would probably be ok but the front.... Turning circle would be horrendous! My Mini wheels are 5j I think....those are more than double that!

Bet that'll cost a bit! Should look good when it's done. We have a Mk2 Golf Cabriolet down here that lowered on euro wheels.
And we had a mk2 golf in work for a while that we did for a lad, de-handled it, smoothed the boot and painted it like a brown colour. Hard to explain the colour. He bought a Mk3 Ibiza Cupra. Smashed it up almost straight away and put the engine out of that into his Mk2 golf. Think that was his intention anyway, just didn't plan on smashing it up! So broke the Ibiza and got money for it.
Wheels are primed! Just need scuffing over and painting! Hopefully done tomorrow if I can get it all done in my lunch hour which is looking very unlikely.
