Right last night i was fed up with it..So before i went on the newyear piss up i checked everything i could see with a torch..WIll have another look 2day..
I defo can here some hissing or somesort when at 1.5k-2.5k before the turbo spools up(So you can hear it)
Im Either gettin desperate and hearing things or it is a leak...
Ive moved my gauge t-peice to the inlet part and my gauge is still reading 1bar but it isnt so the gauge is knackered...
I also turned the 007p around last night and it does sound a hell off alot better and no lag aswell when ive got boost..?
Is the Acuator ment to move both ways?Just not the one way? like mine does you cant push it in but u can pull it out then it will go back to the normal postion?
Can you use the old trick of carb cleaner on the vacum hoses to find a leak if there is one.?
Could it be my coilpack? Or lambda? as ive just got 70miles to 20quid till the light comes on with a beep town driving>
I re-read all this thread and looked at what people have said check and what it could be...
So ive replace CTs,maf,N75,all the n249 with silicone ones..
We've ruled out the map as its showing normal mapping at 6psi full chat and my boost gauge is over reading..
Also when in 2nd gear at low rpm it does jerk(kangroo) but goes away with u put some more revs on..
Also Just came a search when i put Actuator in..
Some people have had the same Code when the VNT mechanism is sticking..So points to the wastegate and turbo...
Now i can get a good one with 50k one it with wastegate and Actuator everything i need for a really good price...My turbo is still the origanl 100k in!
as ive been gettin oil marks on the drive when ive left it after a drive now from what i can see there near the turbo area on the floor...havent had a look at the turbo yet as its pissing down but does the turbo use oil?
