My cupra isnt boosting

Right Next step i think is to take it to awesomegti for a trail map..

From them logs what boost am i getting?1.2bar?

And what causes overboosting...

Cant be the n75 so ruled that out..
Wastegate and Acuator are fine ..
Could any off my pipes be blocked or leaking?
Incorrectly connected?
loosing pateince with this now..

Possible Causes
Boost Pressure too High
Hoses/Pipes incorrect connected, disconnected, blocked or leaking
Charger Pressure Control defective
VNT (variable nozzle turbo): nozzles stuck
Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75) defective

Possible Solutions
Check Hoses/Pipes to/between Components
Check Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
Check / Clean / Replace Charge Pressure Control
Check / Clean mechanism for variable nozzles

Looks like you've got a standard map as it requestes ~6psi on full chat.

Now your actuator could be stuck shut or hoses crimped/bent etc.. to the actuator causing the overboost.

This is what i said a couple of pages back! check to see the actuator/wastegate moves backwards and forwards freely.

The Bar will only move one way!!!Not in and out just moves out then goes back to the normal position..

yeah you did say that as have others but im pissed of with it now...So gonna re do everything so i havent missed owt or done anything wrong..

Right last night i was fed up with it..So before i went on the newyear piss up i checked everything i could see with a torch..WIll have another look 2day..

I defo can here some hissing or somesort when at 1.5k-2.5k before the turbo spools up(So you can hear it)
Im Either gettin desperate and hearing things or it is a leak...

Ive moved my gauge t-peice to the inlet part and my gauge is still reading 1bar but it isnt so the gauge is knackered...
I also turned the 007p around last night and it does sound a hell off alot better and no lag aswell when ive got boost..?

Is the Acuator ment to move both ways?Just not the one way? like mine does you cant push it in but u can pull it out then it will go back to the normal postion?

Can you use the old trick of carb cleaner on the vacum hoses to find a leak if there is one.?
Could it be my coilpack? Or lambda? as ive just got 70miles to 20quid till the light comes on with a beep town driving>

I re-read all this thread and looked at what people have said check and what it could be...

So ive replace CTs,maf,N75,all the n249 with silicone ones..
We've ruled out the map as its showing normal mapping at 6psi full chat and my boost gauge is over reading..
Also when in 2nd gear at low rpm it does jerk(kangroo) but goes away with u put some more revs on..

Also Just came a search when i put Actuator in..

Some people have had the same Code when the VNT mechanism is sticking..So points to the wastegate and turbo...

Now i can get a good one with 50k one it with wastegate and Actuator everything i need for a really good price...My turbo is still the origanl 100k in!

as ive been gettin oil marks on the drive when ive left it after a drive now from what i can see there near the turbo area on the floor...havent had a look at the turbo yet as its pissing down but does the turbo use oil?

put it into seat, i had the same problem and my timing was out. i know everyone tries to avoid going to the dealers but belive me after getting the problem sorted ill allways go to the dealers from now on.

also how many threads should there me on the actuator as im counting 15-16 threads


12-13 threads is std. I thought that had already been posted also to check o see how many threads you have showing?

Also if you need a k03 i have one with 33k on it sat in the attic.

Right ruled out the acutor as i put the threads to 11-12 and they it was still the same..So put i back to 14-15threads like it was before...
Could my coilpacks have gone?as im being told that under full boost it will cut the boost and go in to limp mode am i wrong?

Is my turb fooked as the maf pipe has some oily residue in it and my inlet pipe fromt he smic is full of oil...And my butterfly was covered in oil

I'm wondering if there's so much oil in your SMIC it's producing a huge drop in pressure across it.....
