mk4 golf interior light

just wondered if the mk 4 golf interior light would fit in the mk 4 ibiza or is it best to go 4 the w8 light ???????

It does yes, its the same as the MK4 Cupra interior light, just not black, so would go with the interior of lower models.

The W8 light does look nice, but the Golf MK4 would fit perfectly!

I have the standard interior light from my Octavia spare which is the same as the Golf, I'll try it in the Ibiza at some point.

If it the light with two reading lights, then the main "door" light, as the Golf MK4 and Ibiza Cupra MK4, then it will be a direct replacement with no messing about tbh.

Yes the mk4 golf fits straight in, and on the continent it seems to come standard.

i changed mine coupl eof weeks back as my old girl had the one out of my red one in her polo when i trade it in.

Get it from a VW dealer and its 24 quid including if i remember right.

W8 light does fit but is not secured to the bodywork so can fall out if not fitted properly.

Sounds like it will fit then. I have the W8 light in the Octavia which I installed using the plug and play loom, it just required 1 additional wire connecting to the lighting circuit so that the red illumination comes on with the rest of the dash lighting.

the only way to fit properly is to move the mounting holes which i did, i fitted one in my red beeza a couple of years ago, but never liked it because the roof lining is a slightly different shape to the light,

most people will not even mount to the bodywork.

That number is from the box bought from seat. It is as fitted to the mk1 Leon but I bought it for the ibiza and fits perfect same colour too which is a type of white/cream. Around £24 but have seen them on ebay....
