Anyone elses bonnet and roof like this?

As sain the title, has this happened to anyone elses beeza? been getting progresivley worse on my roof and bonnet for the last few months. Started off with small white spots then got bigger over time( jet wash made it worse). So time has come to do something about it. Gona just get the jet wash on it again at the weekend and strip of the laquer then get it all preped and sprayed in college next week when al be spraying my frnt bumper and wing aswell

No but my front bumper is, the laquer is flaking slightly so i'm eventually gonna get it resprayed. I think it's common on these cars.

Yeah, it does seem quite common on yellow unfortunately.

Mines the same, not quite as big though as i dont jet wash. Yellow paint/laquar is rubbish.

Agree with all the above. My roof has a similar patch but not as big and my bonnet also has laquer peeling off

I'd love a full respray. Ive also looked after the car to the best of my ability but it seems impossible to stop

My bonnet is similar. Now I just try not to walk round the front of the car as I forget about it whilst enjoying driving.
think its gonna need re spraying eventually tho.
Seems so common on the ovni paint.

I reckon all us onvi yellow owners should get together and go to a SEAT dealer and create a blockade until they agree for all of us to have a full respray

luckily for me this hasent happened yet, but, if u use the jet wash alot u run more risk of it happeneing as some of the products used in car washs and jet washes actually degrade the paint and can make it fade

I think you're probably right but ovni seems especially susceptible. I spent ages looking after mine and one day the front of the bonnet is peeling. I actually think I must have had some chemical or sumething splashed on the front 'cos its peeling in splash-shaped patches

Never had the problem on my blue one, have only ever seen it on the onvi ones. Gutted to see mate, hope you manage to sort it.

Nope my laquer aint peeling as of yet....but my roof is a diff colour from the rest of my car due to fading as is my bonnet my spoiler roof rails, door handles and bumpers are all the original onvi yellow.....looks like us yellow guys got the bum deal on the paintwork front!

i have the exact same , only on my roof though, going in hte bodyshop on monday to have a full respray
