Black wheels with the Aero spoiler and skirts look the business IMO, probably with a slight suspension drop too :)

I am going to stick with the 08 black grille as the whole car will be red and black when the wheels are powdercoated.

Looking good:clap:. Defo thinking about dropping mine when i get it but only want 20- 25mm. Will be interested to see what you decide on.

The black wheels will look great on that. Was thinking of getting mine done black. Do you have a different exhaust?

I quite like the wheels on the Linea R but not too fond of the grille and mirrors. Too "FR" for my liking. Why can't they leave the grille alone? I think the 08 LC black grille looks the business especially with the black wing mirrors and pillars.

Surely it would be easier, cheaper, and more appealing to enthusiasts if Seat kept the Cupra the same (and scrapped all these aero kit botched special editions) and instead released a Cupra R with 19" alloys (same design as the prototype which look mighty fine), same engine as Audi S3 (260bhp). Maybe add an LSD a la the megane / FRS, bigger brakes, and front spoiler a la LCR ? Charge say £22 - £23K? They'd sell loads!

Talk about diluting the brand with their current strategy of tacking on the aero kit (which is also available on the 140bhp diesel) and farting around with the grille cause they can't make their minds up.

People keep saying that the current Cupra looks too much like the FR. I'd say that the problem is that the FR looks too much like the Cupra!! Keep the Cupra the same, release a Cupra R same as I've described above, and downgrade the FR (looks wise, not necessarily engine wise). Why not give the FR different less sporty bumpers and wheels? Oh, wait, they did that originally with the Leon Sport! Seat really can't make their minds up.

i think people are on about the honeycombe grille, not the grille surround.

the grille itself does look better, and would look better still with the my08 surround, all imho.
