My Leon needs some screenwash, which do you use?

What do you put in your washer bottle?

My screenwash stinks like cats piss or eggs, tried three different ones and all smelt like crap!! Halfords pink or blue for the nice smell?

I use the dealer supplied bottles, but i have fan style washers on mine and they recommend their own screen wash to prevent clogging.

Got some SEAT screenwash from the dealer in the end just to be on the safe side.

Turns out price is good anyway so there's no point in risking anything else. £1.96+VAT for 1 litre of concentrated stuff.

Also got what I think is a bargain on a litre of top-up oil too, £6.46+VAT.

I never thought I would be impressed by main dealer prices!

The stuff I use is in a grey bottle with yellow flashes on the label. Happy with it so far, not had any issues with the jets at all-tho at high speed the airflow moves the spray around. Nowt to do with the fluid tho!
Heard very good stuff about the Einzett stuff too. Tho, yet to find some to buy.

Googies-Ive had foul smelling washer fluid before and found it simply to be stale. A fresh lot in the bottle (after using it all up) cleared the problem completely. Could be the issue if you dont use the spray very often...

The stuff was fresh, just rank! Im a bit ocd on the windows, wipers seem to last me half the time of everyone else! Will try the halfrauds stuff and see how it goes, although pass a dealer near it, so might try there.
