you will need to get it stipped by a place in the know as you need to unsolder the coil.

that a TFSi crank you were installing matt? what pistons were supplied to go with it?
Eurospec sport one for example have very short slipper pistons in their 2ltr crank kit I believe.. which is why I guess they clear the oil squirters ok
Apperantly it is a TFsi crank yeah, The pistons are JE items just like the ones you supplied but with the pin moved. We have to space oil sprays 1-3 and machine no4 apparently. Doing it this sunday coming.

Have fun in the hedges! Those things are a right handful as standard let alone with more poke! Especially in the wet aswell!
at least he will enter a hedge sideways or backwards, as opposed to our ibizas which under steer into......everything lol and just go head fisrt into the hedge
Lookin good hooch, i got the same rocker on mine, fitted bolt downs with it as well, complete pain in the ass to do.
ive also managed to do mine but wanted to keep it quiet as i know everyone will be doing this now
getting loads of little jobs sorted at present. strapping it on the trialer tomorrow ready for rs fab!!

it will be nice to have a 2 week break from the car but i will be twidling my thumbs untill its bak. im going to clear some work backlog hopefully! still got to finish my mums kitchin lol
once its bak it is fully steam ahead to get it up and running!
