Just a little discussion thread to highlight out the little MK4 specific niggles that nearly each one suffers from or is likely to suffer from!

I'll not go and list them all as thats what each person can do... try not to go and list them all but I'll start a ball rolling with a couple...

The interior rattles like hell and the windows rattle when they are down and your driving!

1. Yep, the windows rattling when down is very anoying.

3. Drivers door solinoid (just had it replaced)
4. Radiator prone to cracking (just had it replaced)

The wishbone bushes break away easily cause they're full of voids and the direct replacements have the exact same problem!

The flap for the ashtray bit refuses to shut.

Actually that is my number 1 annoyance As soon as you drive away, the speed goes up like 2 notches. And then you have to turn it down while driving without turning it too far and turning it off. Then when you turm it back on 1 notch, it comes on too strong..

As said you get a boot full of water when the washer jet pops off.
You carry a spare set of clips for the boost pipes just in case they pop off.
The air con fans go full tilt just because you selected reverse.
You look at your car and know its better then a common Corsa!
