Interior rattles
the long main plastic vent on the dash is driving me mad [:@]

rear washer jet pops off
Araldite and jubilee clips stopped that from happening again!
why have 3 joins (that easily pop off) in the pipe that feeds the rear washer anyway

You destroy your hands changin bulbs (well on a diesel you do!)
Your sidelight bulb fails and you reach for the tools to remove your bumper
 how i laughed when i realized this!

The wishbone bushes break away easily cause they're full of voids and the direct replacements have the exact same problem!
the voids in the wishbone bushes, now thats a stupid idea!
SEAT, just put the cupra solid ones in, they are only £6 at the dealer, how much you be getting them for!

The climate control never goes to the temperature you set it to.
25c .. two clicks down .. 24.5c .. 1 click down .. 23.5c .. 1 click up .. 24.5c .. settle for 24.5c
yep!

You **** yourself every time the cars low on fuel or the temp drops below 4.0Deg!
during the winter months, its bleeped at me every time i have started it up so i have gotten use to it.
half way to work the other morning, happened to glance at the dash, needle on red!
flicked through the trip computer........ fuel left....... 0 miles ......
i commute 17 miles along a 'B' road with no garages on it!

when your car decides it has to wonder to the left at all times
Agree, I thought it was my tracking bit its spot on
really don't understand this quirk at all

u know your an owner of a mk4 ibiza when you catch it at a glance after being detailed in the reflection of a glass shop window on a nice summers day and think this is my car! :)
have to agree, its a good looking motor!
and its the cheapest to run, insure and tax car i've ever owned.
a few shiny bits here and there...... 186 BHP & 297 ft/lb's :cartman:
happy motoring :D

my rear washer stopped working yesterday!!! Second time now i jubilee clipped it on so christ know where its broken now i cant even be bothered to look![:@]

there is a join under the ECU (remove airbox and unclip ECU:rolleyes:. the join is out of your line of sight, get somebody to operate the washer so you can see where the water is coming from;)), another where it clips onto the wiper motor and another inside the boot above the drivers rear wheel arch (you will need to remove the the plastics and carpet liner to get at that one!)

Sorry but i'm gonna have to ask , why?

....As you get the warning "DONGGGGGG!!" sound when you least expect it!
It alerts you that either: you are low on petrol, or outside temperate has dropped to freezing.
But as the sound is the same for either, I have to look at both dials on the dash so I know which it is complaining about :D

You know you have a MK4 Ibiza when...
You don't see another Mk4 Ibiza during your whole journey to work and back .. or you might see just 1 if you are lucky! :)
We drive a GREAT looking car, and they ARE unique! They are not as common to see on the roads as your average Vauxhall, Ford, Renaults. :funk:

The Wrong side of the Pennines
Random functioning of the intermitant wipe.

No left hand grip in the hatch cover.

No gas strut for the bonnet.

EEZI-DINT (® Seat) bodywork.

Rubbing strips that are 1. Black, 2. Useless & 3. Major bodywork headache to remove.

Road Noise - My Fiesta has the exact same Bridgestones and is Library quiet in comparison.

Stupid money servicing costs at the Dealer.

The dash makes the loudest pant-soiling bleep when ur low on fuel, always makes ur blood freeze its so scary. Below 4 degrees a wee bell goes off, similar to inside a plane cabin when its time to fasten ur seatbelt. :D

May as well also include the noise when the handbrake's on. And I think I remember also get a beeping sound when opening the door at night when the lights are still on (?)

Do we have a tune coming on here?? :funk:
