Rear end revamp... (leon mk2 cupra)

I don't want to sound too sad and practical but there's no way I'd remove the rear wiper - I find whenever I'm driving down the motorway in heavy rain I'm flicking it on every 2 minutes (I never used to with the Mk1 Cupra, must be something about the shape of the Mk2!?).

i never use it :S i have rain-x on there, and the rain water just glides off.. besides ITS SUMMER

I wouldn't change anything from standard, I think they look well as they are..

DITTO also loose the R badge.

Bog standard exterior and modified mechanical is the way.

Except for my 3/4 front number plate, wrc stylee, it def. improves the front end look!!

Fair play to you mate. Good to see some-one who wants to stand out from the herd and has the bxxxs to try something different. Unfortunatley I've beaten you to every mod except the wiper removal by at least two years. I've been running no badges, tinted lights and reflectors and blacked out badge since about a fortnight after delivery in Nov.2005 ( not a Cupra but a 2.0 TFSI) Personally I'd leave the number plate in the standard position and I don't think I could live without the rear wiper but that's only my opinion. No doubt you will get a lot of flak from some quarters, but, hey it's your car so go for it and ignore the critics.

I was thinking more for H8T WP's sake rather than my own, as he's considering the tinted lights etc.

I'm going to be starting modest with interior stuff first:

GTi MkV pedals, and black sill guards with Brushed Aluminium interior guards:

And then eventually the Aero side skirts .


As for delivery date, had an email the other day saying there are delays at the Spanish port so I have no shipping date yet

My countdown signature is based on the original dealer guesstimate, but if it's sooner that would be superb

Luv it mate! The plate looks best lower I think! I got the ice grey hella lights on mine and look well on a black car loads of people have said they look loads better than the originals even though everyone on here thinks they are a chav mod.

Don't listen to anyone on here who says every mod u do is a chav 1. its just all talk from the safety of behind a computer they wouldn't dare say it to your face saying this is s**t that is s**t.

So just do what you want to do to your motor and f**k what everyone else thinks!

and about debadging... first thing when car arrives... and if I find 1.4 FSI
