they are LED bulbs. they were donated to me by unclefester so he'll know exactly what they are.

well done karlos mate, lovely job..how long did it take ya?..normally takes me anything up to 5 hours when i do mine...hmmm too much time on my hands methinks!...

cheers bud, it took me a few hours (about 4 to be precise) i washed it with meguiars gold class shampoo the dried it. i attempted to use a clay bar for the first time but if i'm honest i wasn't overly impressed. i seem to get better results with meguiars paint cleaner. so, i clay barred the bonnet and bootlid then washed it again (damm quik detailer :( ) then i dried it again and gave it a quick layer of autosmart platinum polish then a generous coat of meguiars NXT wax

next time i think i'll just use the paint cleaner instead of the clay bar. then i'll be buyng some dodo juice wax :D

Looking good mate.

I havent seen many LCRs in this colour and it looks stunning.

That picture is a beauty.

a quick update. i spent an hour or so today removing the soundproofing and cleaning under the bonnet. i think it looks better without all that heavy stuff under there and now its clean it shouldn't be too hard to maintain.

also while i was at it i removed the front foglights as they look to be a massive obstruction to the airflow destined for the intercoolers............ i just need to vent the wheelarch liners now.

Karl, so your not going to have fog lights? you going to put them back once you get the vented wheelarch liners?

i never use them anyway maz so its no great loss. the foglights are MASSIVE and looking through the grille with them in place you can see just how much space they take up. every little helps i suppose!

That last pic looks excellent. Get the bonnett seal mate it'll help keep engine bay a bit cleaner. How'd you get on with company that did your remap? Did they give you money back?

FMIC is the answer :)

its an expensive answer. i'm not saying that the two SMIC's are anywhere as good as a FMIC but if i can make even a small improvement then that can't be a bad thing. with no foglights and eventually venting the wheel arch liners airflow should be improved no end without impeding flow to the radiator which a FMIC sits in front of.

I think once moving the air is forces behind the fog lights anyway?

latest small update, numberplate surrounds! i'm chuffed to bits with them.......... a special thanks goes to somebody that shall remain nameless to protect their identity, thank you!
