Yeah, if you want Imprint loaded I think you need a seperate box with the IDA-X100. If you get that installed, go to your local dealer and they'll "imprint" your car. Seen a few of them being done in the workshop here (I work for Alpine), and they sound awesome when theyre done.
Basically they sit a microphone in different positions in the car and calibrate the sound system. According to the tech dept it makes a huuuuuge difference, they swear by it.

I've got the extra bits of kit, Imprint system, and the microphone & software, the problem i'm having is finding out how to hook the system up using the internal amp on the headunit.

Anychance you can ask the tech bods if it has to run thru external amps, or if it is indeed possible to use the internal amp please

When you say AUX in, what are you trying to connect?

I was sure I had the right kit, just totally purplexed as to how to connect the PXA-H100 back to the iDA-X100, but I think I've just found out...

Bad case of RTFM on my part...

Me thinks a weekend of pulling the car apart again is in order...

Still running standard speakers at the mo, but that will change, and then I'll run the Imprint setup again just to make sure!

OK, here comes the stupidity...

I've lost the CD with the Imprint Sound Manager on...

I've looked on the web and couldn't find it available for download...

Anyone point me in the right direction, or have a copy available?

It's the KTX-H100 (CLICKY)

Basically the H100 is just the software, microphone, and a couple of other cables. The 100EQ looks like its another bit of hardware as well??

Not sure if the software is the same tho...?

Sorry to be such a pain...really must learn to hide CD's from the little man's hands...

Anyone got this working with steering wheel controls ?

Also, its a right bugger to actually fit in place, there seems to be a little ridge in the ibiza dash, that stops the cage being pushed into place. Think i might have to move it around and have the hu at the bottom, tray at the top
