badge is looking good, i sprayed mine today to fit my custom grill im making. Anyone know what the plastic at the top of the grill above the S badge is there for (the horizontal plastic piece running between the slates) is it there for a reason?

Looks different....not too keen on the green, but haven't seen it on the car yet.

I rushed mine as well being impatient! Managed to touch it up after though :)

I've been thinking about cutting out the piece that you've described. I believe Matty cut out all these bits on his Mk4. It must be there for a reason...maybe to prevent wind noise?

oh well too late for me its all been cutaway and smoothed, just got to fit the honeycomb mesh somehow and spray the grill and hope it doesnt affect anything

modding was suposed to stop lol when i was buying the VW sirroco, but iv just brought a new appartment so little mods like this wont hurt the funds

i dont think its to stop wind noise. iv been driving around with no grill in, while the paint dried and it doesnt sound any different. the grill is obv there to protect ur radiator, but them little plastic bits at the top cant make a differance.

Looks good, planning on doing mine on sunday.
Going for the Zenith grey same as the body with a red trim
