this fools the throttle sensor, and fools the driver

what it does is at less angle in the accelerator you will have full open throttle so people thinks the lag is eliminated.

other thing, another electronic system wont eliminate any kind of throttle lag in fact will add more because the signal has to go through other gadget
Do you have one of these fitted to your car?

If it lessens the angle of WOT, how can it add more lag?

remember im from venezuela so my english is not the best.

let me try to explain me my self better.

you have the pedal right to go WOT you have to press it full

with the sprint booster when you are pressing the pedal at 75% you are already at WOT so this make the brain to think you have less lag and more throttle response but is just fooling you

MMmm okay

I'm 100% sure that my car is quicker, this has been proved against a LCR with the same set up who couldn't keep up.
If the car accelerates quicker, its a quicker car.
Even without the SB and you plant the foot to WOT you will not accelerate as quick as you will with the SB fitted and on 50% of WOT.

this is what I have felt on my car (LCR 210), and three further friends cars, LCR 270 BHP, Leon 1.6 16v and LC 300 BHP

If the car accelerates quicker, its a quicker car.

I would suggest it "reacts" quicker as saying it is a quicker car would suggest if goes faster (top end). Throttle response is more sensitive , the fact is, that this device can react quicker than flooring you right foot:) to less delay in accelerating through the gears etc. I see the benefits, but the price of 150 notes is a bit steep.

anyone else bought one yet?

Yes, I agree with that, but in your last comment you said it would add more lag.
This contradicts the above comment.

Absolutely spot on.

If you can get one second hand then that saves you a few notes......that's what I did! ;)

people buys this to eliminate DBW lag in fact it adds more, our pedal is a potentiometer so its a electrical device, if you add another electrical device you will add more time for the signal to travel to the TB

i think you can set up the accelerator pedal with vag com to fool it like the SB do it....

if you guys want to do a really useful mod i will give you 2 very good options

http://www.npcompleteperformance.com/wotbox

http://www.snowperformance.net/

the n2mb wot box will give you 2 step launch control and wot shifting

the snow performance kit will give you real HP gains

Sorry, I don't agree with that.

It's worked wonders on our Mini One. No additional lag what so ever.
In fact the first time I drove the car with it fitted, it kept wheel spinning when pulling away!!
Shifting up through the gears, it feels quicker. Must be doing something right!!

As above, perhaps your thinking of something else
Whats the point in fitting a £150 mod that increase the position of WOT but increases lag?
