Yes. It is. Revo Stage 1
Also going for stage 2 in 2 weeks with the Piper exhaust + other bits. Just come back from a drive. This thing is bl**dy dangerous...

reason why I asked is because I wondered if revo adjust the throttle sensor in their maps.

it may seam so as you say its bl**dy dangerous!

Not sure if they adjust or not to be honest, would not be surprised if they did.

The car just goes now like I have floored the accelerator everytime, but with so much less effort. But it does not get any faster the more you put the pedal down after about half way.

It's actually quite difficult to drive slowly now. Does not seem to have affected the cruise control which I was worried about, it's no more twitchy.

thats not good if your flat out at half throttle!

id use vag come and do a TB reset!

Ok, I didn't explain it v.well. It still accelerates - just not as Furiously as the 1st half of travel.. It runs out of puff quite easily in the higher revs. Hope stage 2 & exhaust/TIP/filter will cure that a bit. Will be v interested to see the RR result

a sprint booster doesn't affect your engine power!

your the 2nd person now to say that with the sprint booster, at half throttle the car feels just as quick as at full throttle!!!

i would suggest doing a TB reset to see if this helps, if not then I would hazard a guess that your remap has already adjusted the throttle map and the sprint booster is now making it even more sensitive! (too sensitive!)

as i said before, i need to phone jabba and see if they adjusted my throttle map!

is the sprint booster just opening it more, for the reduced pedal effort, respanning the pedal throttle pot of sorts.. no different to just putting your foot down.????

thats exactly the way it seems bill, i cant see why people cant just put their foot down harder when they want to accelerate

well i thought and was hoping it quicken up the response so your car felt like a cable TB not a drive by wire!

funny thing is my ibiza is no different to a cable driven car in responce terms... you just cant tell a difference.. that throttle opens as fast as anything despite being dbw. now, thats not saying the ecu is'nt controlling throttle progression in a manner it deems suits its mapping tho.

on the mercedes forum someone done some test and all sprintbooster does is to increase the trottle input ie
no throttle= same
normal 1/4 throttle = 1/2 to 3/4 throttle
normal 1/2 throttle = full throttle
full throttle = full throttle
so it just makes the throttle open bigger for the input, hence differcult to drive at slow speed and nothing after half throttle as the car is at full throttle already
why not just add some weight to the gas pedel as it will have the same effect

it can only be a very basic scaling device as suggested.

that sounds just like a multiplier, SHould be able to do the same with a couple of resistors making the approriate potential divider.

I might take some resistance measurements & have a play with a throttle pot next time I can get near one. would be easy to replicate for under 5p.

if you open a sprint booster thats exactly what it is

Nowhere near, i.e. Norway.
Ok, if "full throttle" is all it does, why doesn't it show when I'm tanking up?
And why doesn't the revs go up any quicker when I'm revving in neutral?

Anyhow it's a fun device for unmapped cars! If you know your right foot.

just put some weight on the gas pedal it will do similar thing but much cheaper
